Don’t embarrass yourself on a Date

The reason why most people try to avoid dating is the fear of starting over. While this is true, it still shouldn’t justify your reason for being single. If you really want to be in a relationship, but want to take shortcuts around this part it would be difficult but not impossible. For example, you could get to know someone over the Internet and even talk to them for month after month before even meeting. This gives you an advance of what they like, their favorite topics, and things you could ask them about in your life. But what if you are on a blind date? What are the rules to follow then? Here are some tips so you don’t embarrass yourself on a date:

1. Always be sure you look your best. If you are someone with dandruff, use special shampoo for that. You don’t want them questioning your hygiene or being totally turned off by you.

2. Never inquire about a second date or make any future references like “We should go to a different restaurant on the next date.” This may make you seem clingy or you might be embarrassed by rejection of course.

3. Stay away from political topics or family topics. You could have both different political opinions, and many times before – dates have ended in arguments because of this. Also, if she recently lost someone in the family or something negative is going on in that department – you don’t want to go there.
